Illegal immigration is making the front pages because local law enforcement around the country is doing something many find outrageous. When the federal government refused to take a stand to stop illegal immigrations, the locals began checking for papers and deporting illegals.

Supporters of illegals are crying “foul.” They say that those ILLEGALS that haven’t committed a crime and that are working and paying taxes shouldn’t be removed from the country. They miss the one fundamental flaw of the theory – the fact that they illegals ARE illegal means they have committed a crime.

I spent some time flipping through the internet to see what information was out there. There are some heart wrenching stories about families that are part legal (mainly because the children were born in the United States to illegal parents) and part illegal. Some of the stories mentioned that illegals (and even legal immigrants that were living with some illegals in the household) were becoming fearful of the police.

It may sound harsh, but so. If I were breaking the law, or if someone in my household was breaking the law, I would be fearful as well.

There other sides to this coin that people who support ILLEGAL immigrants chooses to ignore. What about all the people standing in line to get into the United States legally? Where is all the support and outcries to help them cross into the country that they hold so dear, respect so completely, that they are already following the rules and regulations?

It is also interesting to note that Americans crossing into Mexico illegally will be deported on the spot. Mexico protects its borders from illegals. Why is it so difficult for the United States to protect those same borders?
