America has fallen into a rut.  It’s like the small town high school where every one already knows who will be elected class officers even before they nominations are announced.  It’s just the way things are.

Politics have been following the same pattern.  “They” decide who the people will get to choose to run the country.  “They” decide who will make the laws and enforce the laws and interpret the laws.

That is how it has always been.

This year there has been some unexpected twists in the political process.  “They” did not count on the people heaping support behind candidates like Barak Obama, Mike Huckabee, and even Ron Paul.  One year ago, no one could have predicted that candidates could make an impact with little and even less name recognition, but they are!

It’s good for the political process to change.  Anything that doesn’t change and evolve will eventually die.  The political process had become a joke to most of the American citizens, many of which didn’t even bother to turn out to vote.  This influx of new and exciting individuals is helping to ignite the public interest once again.

No matter what the results may be from this primary season or from the upcoming conventions, “they” have learned that when the people decide to have a voice that voice will be heard.
